Enable visitors to mark and save favourite products

What are favorites?

It is a feature that allows visitors to mark products as favorites and save them in a list. If the feature is enabled, a heart will appear on each product page. If the visitor clicks on the heart, the product will be saved as a favorite and you can then find all the favorites by clicking on another heart at the top of the shopping basket.

We have updated the favorites feature so from today onwards you do not need to be logged in to use the feature. 

Activate favorites in the theme

Go to Appearance -> Themes -> select theme, edit -> Content -> Product page -> Favourites & shopping lists.

At "Mark as favorite" select "Enabled" and save.

How does it work in the shop?

On each product page, an icon with a heart will appear below the product price. If the visitor clicks on the icon, the product will be saved in a favorites list. 

To see the whole favorites list, click on another icon with a heart at the top of the shopping basket. From the list, the customer can go directly to the product page or add it to the shopping cart. If the product has variants/options or requires file uploading, the customer will not be able to add it to the shopping cart directly but will be redirected to the product page to make the mandatory selections first.
