Gift wrapping

You can give the buyer the choice to have their order wrapped as a gift.

The function appears at the checkout, where the customer can choose to have his order wrapped.

How do I activate gift wrapping?

Go to Appearance -> Themes -> choose your theme and edit. 

Then go to the Content tab -> Checkout -> Gift wrapping. Activate gift wrapping by clicking on the "On" button.

Use "Generate a gift wrapping article" to create the gift wrapping article. The gift wrap works as if it is an additional product the customer orders.

Once the product has been generated, click on the save button in the top right corner.

The gift wrap is now displayed at the top of the product list under Products and has a base price of 10 SEK. You can change the product as usual, price, name or picture and add the customer's choice if desired. 

Now your customers will be able to choose gift wrapping at checkout.

Some questions you as a shopkeeper should ask yourself:
Do you wrap all products separately or a single package for the entire order?
Should the customer be able to choose to wrap the products separately?
Should the customer be able to buy the wrapping of a specific product (if there are many in the basket)?

We recommend that you make this as easy as possible for the customer and therefore do not overcomplicate the purchase by letting the customer make a lot of decisions. You can use "customer choice" here. Examples of choices you can add:

Number of packages

1-3
4-6 (+20 kr)
6-9 (+50 kr)
10 or more (+100 kr)

Restrictions
It is not possible to automatically generate the gift wrap product in sub-stores for multi-store systems. You have to create this product manually. Please contact our customer service for more information or help with this.
