Change of ownership

If your shop is changing hands, follow the list below.
To-do list:
1) Current owner invites incoming owner to create admin account under Settings >> Administrators. See linked manual.
The incoming owner fills in their contact details on their new account.
2) Current owner then goes to my customer service and sends Abicart a copy of the transfer agreement between old and new owner.
3) Book a meeting:
Current owner and new owner need to be present at the digital meeting.
When you send the copy of the transfer agreement, write down some times that work for you, and we will book a digital meeting.
4) At the meeting: If step 1 was not done before the meeting, it will be done now. Then we update the store so that the new administrator account (incoming) becomes the owner account for the store.
The old owner can remain as administrator or be deleted by the new owner. You can read about how to delete an administrator here.
