Price file (product feed) to various price comparison services such as Prisjakt, Pricerunner, Ciao, Kelkoo and Prisvis.

What is a price file?

In order to list your products on external sites, such as price comparison sites, you need a product file (or product feed) that you upload to the external site. The format of these price files can vary a bit, but it is usually a text file (CSV) or an XML file. If it is a product feed, you usually enter a URL to the products.

The file/feed contains product information: product name, description, link to product images, price, etc.

In order to access a price file/feed for Google Shopping, Facebook Catalog and Instagram, an additional service, "Product feed for Google Shopping and Facebook Catalog" is required and can be purchased in the store under "My subscription".

What price files do you support?

At the moment we have ready-made solutions for Prisjakt, Pricerunner, Ciao, Kelkoo and Prisvis. We also have feeds for Google Shopping and Facebook Shopping.

Activate price files in store

Go to Settings -> External links -> Price comparison system.

In the "Price comparison sites" box, activate the product feed(s) you want to use by clicking the "ON" button.

A URL is then displayed that goes to the product feed. This URL is then entered into the price comparison system.

In the "Settings" box on the right there are some choices you have to make.

Allow external parties to download price lists

To make the feeds available, "Yes" must be selected. In case of "No" the feeds are hidden.

General delivery time (if a product is not in stock) *

Specify a text with a general delivery time for products that are not in stock. For example, "2-5 days"

Delivery method to be included

In order for shipping to be included in the flow, a choice must be made. The list shows all the store's delivery methods as well as "Cheapest". Depending on any weight ranges on the delivery methods, the shipping charge may be dynamic. Please note that delivery method with weight restriction may cause products outside its range not to appear in the price file.

Other language or currency in price file

The URL displayed in the price file is based on the store's base language and the currency associated with that language. You can change the URL to show a different language, currency, etc. by adding different parameters to the URL.

Cache on price files

The price file has a cache period of 5 hours. When the time has expired, the price file is regenerated on the first call.
