Add a manual payment method - Own payment method

Own payment method is a manual payment method. You can name it anything you want, such as Invoice or Bank Transfer. The payment method can be made available to all customers or, for example, selected customer groups. Customers will be able to place orders without paying directly at the checkout and you will need to verify that the order is paid before it is processed.
Settings >> Payment methods >> Add own payment method
Add your own payment method
1) Go to Settings >>
2) >> Payment methods
3) Select payment method
4) Select Own payment method in the list
5) Click on +Add
6) Name the payment method
7) Fill in the detailed description with the information the customer needs to pay for their order.
E.g. Bank details for manual payment
8) Check the "Active" box.
9) Save
An example of an Own payment method is "Invoice". It is actually the same as "Own payment method" except that we have named it Invoice. It works manually in the same way as when you make a "Own payment method".
