IP Based Subscription - Internal

Art. no. 221247359

What is IP based subscription?

An IP-based subscription lets readers access the publisher’s content without logging in, as long as they are connected to a predefined IP address or range.
Prenly checks the user’s IP address to grant access, similar to a regular subscription, but without using personal login credentials.

What is it used for? / What are its functions?

  • It allows unlimited simultaneous users within one or more defined IP addresses or IP ranges.

  • Use case: allow access for large institutions like libraries, corporate offices, or industry-specific groups.

  • Tip: No login is required, which reduces support requests.

  • Flexible pricing: While the number of users can’t be restricted, pricing can be scaled based on organization size or agreement terms.
