When your business sells goods or services at a distance, for example over the internet or at a location outside your business premises, the law on distance contracts and off-premises contracts applies. Among other things, the law requires your business to give the consumer certain information before you sell something. It also gives consumers the right to cancel their purchase without giving a reason.
