Moped renovator shares his best e-commerce tips!

Mopedrenovering.se has been a customer of Abicart since: 2013. What started as a hobby grew quickly and today they are one of the largest moped shops in Europe. Janne is one of the co-owners and with a background in IT he shares his best tips!
We follow the mantra "We suck less"
- For us, there has never been just one thing, but we do many things and we do those things well. We don't have to be the best, but we should never be the worst. We follow the mantra "We suck less". Which means that when we think we suck at something, we are often still better than our competitors. We're still usually the best, even if we're not always happy with what we do.
- We have always had many ideas and we are not afraid to try new things so my tip is to think outside the box and dare to try things out. Just make sure to analyze and change again if you notice that it is not for the better. When you run a webshop, it is important that you have a high level of knowledge about your products and that you know how to treat a customer. A dissatisfied customer can always become a very good ambassador, your job is to make sure to turn the customer's mindset into a positive one. Sometimes it costs a little but it's always worth it because in the end you will profit from it.
- To further streamline your work, my tip is to learn how to work in Excel, especially if you have large amounts of products. I like to process 10,000 products at once to work more efficiently.
- For example, if you realize that you have given the same items different names such as tail light, tail lamp, tail lamp and tail lamp. Instead of going in and changing each item one by one in the database, you can instead pick out the entire database and put it into an Excel file so you can filter and change all to the same name there. Then you just put it back into the database, which will save you a lot of time. As soon as you can process many things at once in Excel, it is incredibly time-saving, it is worth its weight in gold to be able to process many articles at the same time.
- My last tips are about making the work easier for you who start a webshop. Make sure to have everything totally integrated and automated as much as possible. We have removed all manual work by connecting the functions and integrations that are available with each other and it makes our daily work much easier. We have had your PRO subscription since the beginning. The reason for this is that we have always wanted to fully automate everything as much as possible and we want to avoid manual methods. To be able to make these connections, we have needed to have the PRO subscription. Considering everything you offer and deliver against what we pay, we think it is extremely good. You are also good at picking integrations in many payment methods and the like.
